How the light gets in

 Redwoods

Ring the bells that can still ring,

Forget your perfect offering.

There is a crack in everything.

That’s how the light gets in.

Oh I like that, and the picture is perfect!

Makes a person feel okay about being a bit cracked.

Breath-taking… both the picture and the song…
    I’ve always loved Cohen…

So mystical… we as imperfect beings… have got the chance to get to light through the very flaw we’ve got in our character… i really do believe in this…
Thus even satan can lead us to the path of righteousness…

    Thanks for this beautiful choice…
Also thanks for that awesome night poem by Rainer Maria Rilke you left on my blog…
    You always make my day…
    Hugs

    Hi Shawn,
It really does have that kind of reassurance to it. ;)

    Hey Wanda, Thanks.

Hi Human Being, Yes, Cohen had some beautiful work.
I had a dream with a crow teacher in it the other night!
Thanks for sending me on the quest for a night poem.

    Thanks, Pandemonic.
I was looking for a match for the words and initially visualized some kind of broken pottery, then I found this.

He really does, LFC. I just like looking at this and reading that little passage. It’s like a cool drink for a thirsty mind.
